We all have thoughts like this, it is only human to wish we'd done things better, but face it, we can't change the past, we can only, accept it, learn from it, and move on. A program of positive affirmations, practiced on a daily basis will help you to re-frame your thoughts into more positive and productive energy messages. Your thoughts do put energy into the cosmos, there is already too much negativity in the world, why add to it?

Remind Yourself of the Things You Are Grateful For

Stresses and challenges are put into perspective when you are constantly reminding yourself of the things that are good about your life. Taking time each day to stop and appreciate what you have accomplished will  encourage you - you'll feel more motivated to make the effort to cultivate the positive.  You'll find yourself making progress, and will notice you spend less time feeling down and unmovtivated. I suggest you get your affirmation, either first thing in the morning, or last thing at night:

  • Write the affirmation on post-it notes, post them where they'll be seen often
  • Stick one up on your bathroom mirror, on your computer, car dash, fridge, over the sink
  • Repeat the affirmation often
  • Always use the present tense as if the affirmation is already a reality in your life
  • >Repetition will reinforce the thought in your mind and subconscious.
  • Repeat often - your brain believes what you tell it.
